JoyofAdventure was aims to inspire young people and their teachers to go on adventures. Our aim is that your expedition with us will begin a life time of journeys all over the world either by foot, canoe or bike!
JoyofAdventure is set up to support local schools to run their DofE expeditions or for young people to join expeditions where their schools dont offer them.
JoyofAdventure believes in the benefits to young people of learning in the outdoors and is passionate about equipping and training teachers and students so that they are able to competently and safely work in the outdoors, particularly through the DofE award scheme.
JoyofAdventure works with highly qualified staff. All staff are experienced outdoor professionals with a wealth of experience of working both with young people and adults in the outdoors.
JoyofAdventure is an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) of the DofE Award and has a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Adventure Activity Licence (AAL).
JoyofAdventure includes the First Aid Centre Applied First Aid which is an accredited Immediate Temporary Care (ITC) Centre offering a number of accredited First Aid Certificates which are Ofqual regulated and meet the meet HSE standards for due diligence for First Aid providers. All certificates are valid for 3 years.
