JoyofAdventure was set up to enable the training of teachers and the leading of DofE expeditions for local schools. It is an approved activity provider (AAP) of the DofE Award and has a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Adventure Activity Licence (AAL).
JoyofAdventure believes in the benefits to young people of learning in the outdoors and is passionate about equipping and training teachers and students so that they are able to competently and safely work in the outdoors, particularly through the DofE award scheme.
JoyofAdventure works with highly qualified staff. All staff are experienced outdoor professionals with a wealth of experience of working both with young people and adults in the outdoors.
JoyofAdventure includes the First Aid Centre Applied First Aid which is an accredited Immediate Temporary Care (ITC) Centre offering a number of accredited First Aid Certificates which are Ofqual regulated and meet the meet HSE standards for due diligence for First Aid providers. All certificates are valid for 3 years.
